On Wednesday (December 6), MTV News kicks off the second annual Hottest Breakthrough MCs competition, which will spotlight the ten up-and-coming rappers who lit up the hip-hop game in 2011. Each day we’ll highlight two new Hottest Breakthrough MCs before concluding on December 13, when the polls close at 11:59 p.m. ET. The 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MC will be revealed during December 14's episode of "RapFix Live," where the winner will appear on the show. There will also be a special announcement concerning MTV News’ upcoming “Hottest MCs in the Game” list and debate.
